At last. It was actually valid from 31st August, but I didn’t have any money last week to pick it up. Now I have it, as I expected, it’s only valid as long as my visa. As in, it expires in less than a month, along with my visa. So, we called into the immigration office at Dan Sing Korn on the way home to see what they need for a 1-yr visa extension. As soon as I mentioned it, there were lots of sharp intakes of breath by the various suited immigration officers present. I was shown a list of 17 articles I had to gather in duplicate. Most of it should be easily attainable, but I’ve only got a few weeks to gather it all (remember, this is ‘Thai’ time, things don’t happen overnight around here). I’m now off to meet with my accountant to see if I can get the financial side of things prepared.
